31st January 2010 Mt. Biking: clent Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: cold Sea Temperature: Weather: mixed Max Speed: Distance Covered: 18miles (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) after a morning drive to borth only to be greated by no wind hail and snow, we called it quits and set of home at 12, after the dissapointment of the morning i went for a spin over the local hills around clent, good workout in the muddy conditions with bits of ice here and there , only saw one other biker, but it was three o'clock so all sensible folk had been and gone, every time i go to clent i find different routes, with a long steep, stepped descent into a stream crossing which i just managed to hold onto with my brakes screaming all the way down, bugger of a climb out though, loosing traction and spinning away which made it hard graft. still better than sitting at home or in my motorhome deciding which dead animal i'm going to wear next for a coat... ehh spooks....or is that comrade spooks |
